Mahaperiyava Fine Arts Inaugural Event
September 3rd - 4th, 2022
Mahaperiyava Fine Arts will be inaugurated at a grand event on September 3, 2022 at 4 PM with Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. Trichy Sankaran as the Chief Guest and Smt. Padma Mohan as the Guest of Honor and Carnatic dignitaries participating. A special ensemble featuring the Carnatica Brothers, Smt. Vasudha Ravi, Smt. Nirmala Rajasekar, Shri. Ragavendra Rao, Thanjavur Shri. Murugabhoopathy and Guru Sri S.V. Ramani will perform.
As part of the inauguration festivities, we have planned a series of student performances on Sept 3 and 4. Our goal is to celebrate and recognize the talent in the San Francisco bay area. From these performances, vocal, veena, violin, flute and mridangam students will be selected by an eminent panel of musicians and provided with opportunities to perform in the Chennai music season.
